OSL Speaker Training Retreat ~ 2022

OSL Speaker Training Retreat
April 29th, 30th & May 1st

Dear Friends,

One of the joys of being the North American Director of OSL is the responsibility to train and send qualified, inspirational speakers into the harvest. We know there are many of you who have been anointed to speak and teach on the healing ministry of Jesus. We are offering you this training opportunity, to be held at:

The Blessing Place at High Pastures Retreat Center
290 Kings Highway
Burnsville, NC
828-682-3138

The Blessing Place Retreat Center offers a serene and beautiful environment, which is just right for this training. Cabins have been refurbished, are clean, simple and comfortable. Cost is very affordable at $50/person/night, which includes five meals.

Instructors for this training will be myself, along with Rev. John Rice, who is an outstanding speaker, and guide to OSL.

This training opportunity is available to twelve (12) persons, who must be highly recommended by their OSL Regional Director. Candidates must be a current OSL member for at least one year and submit a letter to me on why this is your calling accompanied by your Regional Directors recommendation letter. Submit letters via email to: OSLNad@OSLToday.org no later than March 15, 2022. We hope you
will prayerfully consider this opportunity.

Upon completion of your training, you will receive a certificate of completion authorizing you to speak at OSL conferences, lead workshops and minister to large groups within and on behalf of OSL.

Training, encouraging and deploying leaders to go into the harvest, as Jesus told us, is a high priority in OSL. We believe God has greater things planned for you than you could ask or imagine.

Yours in Christ,
The Rev. Joseph K. Acton
North American Director, OSL

Faces of Africa - Mission to Mend

Dr. Ian Clarke an Irish white medical doctor has lived in Uganda since 1987 during the repression times that saw many Ugandans killed in the Luwelo war. He was a missionary doctor then and he helped many wounded children, women and men. For two years he treated them under a tree in his own compound. In 2011 he decided to go into politics and work towards social development. He won the elections as the mayor of Makindye Division in Kampala. In his two year tenure in politics, he has done a lot and many Ugandans are so thrilled with him more than they are with the Ugandan politicians.

Healing Christmas

Healing Christmas

The Almighty appeared on earth as a helpless human baby, needing to be fed and changed and taught to talk like any other child. The more you think about it, the more staggering it gets. Nothing in fiction is so fantastic as this truth of the Incarnation. - J.I. Packer

The Son of God became a man to enable men to become sons of God. - C.S. Lewis

Dear Friends,

God became incarnate among our broken humanity in the infant in Bethlehem. How incredible! How vulnerable! How helpless and dependent he was! And yet the whole cosmos found its source, and its existence sustained in him. “In him all things hold together” (Col. 1:17), and yet the baby Jesus cannot hold his bladder! He is so weak, so small. In short, he is truly one of us. The Almighty has found his dwelling place among the powerless.

And yet ultimately we find in ourselves a heavenly nature, supernatural power, heroic love, courage and sacrifice - all in Him. In and through Him, we have become sons and daughters of God. Behold, we are a new creation in Christ.

The goal of OSL is that a person learns, grows in the ways of the Spirit and gives themself to the healing works of Jesus, becoming “as He is in this world” (1 John 4:17).

Those who are beginning with our foundational 26 Miracles of Jesus course begin to feel within themselves that a real transformation awaits them. It’s all about learning to be like Jesus and by His Grace, learning to let him minister in powerful ways through us. It’s that simple ...and that amazing!

Would you like to retake the class? The program is rich with additional resources as well as hands-on prayer practicum in small groups via Zoom Breakout Rooms. Participants regularly pray for each other and are prayed over. This is a wonderful opportunity for growth and renewal. Current OSL members need only to sign up for a class time and make sure that they have the most recent copy of the 26 Healing Miracles workbook!

I invite you to think and pray about sponsoring a friend to take the OSL online 26 Healing Miracles class. This is a gift that can be life changing! The cost for individuals wishing to take the class includes class materials and a one year membership with OSL.

If you would like to make a Christmas donation to bless the mission and ministry of OSL, click here. Thank you for your prayer support of this worldwide healing organization that empowers people to be the “healing hands of Jesus” to a broken world.

OSL wishes you a deeply happy, meaningful, holy and healing Christmas.

Faithfully yours,

The Rev. Joseph K. Acton
