Healing Christmas The Almighty appeared on earth as a helpless human baby, needing to be fed and changed and taught to talk like any other child. The more you think about it, the more staggering it gets. Nothing in fiction is so fantastic as this truth of the Incarnation. - J.I. Packer The Son of God became a man to enable men to become sons of God. - C.S. Lewis Dear Friends, God became incarnate among our broken humanity in the infant in Bethlehem. How incredible! How vulnerable! How helpless and dependent he was! And yet the whole cosmos found its source, and its existence sustained in him. “In him all things hold together” (Col. 1:17), and yet the baby Jesus cannot hold his bladder! He is so weak, so small. In short, he is truly one of us. The Almighty has found his dwelling place among the powerless.  And yet ultimately we find in ourselves a heavenly nature, supernatural power, heroic love, courage and sacrifice - all in Him. In and through Him, we have become sons and daughters of God. Behold, we are a new creation in Christ.  The goal of OSL is that a person learns, grows in the ways of the Spirit and gives themself to the healing works of Jesus, becoming “as He is in this world” (1 John 4:17).   Those who are beginning with our foundational 26 Miracles of Jesus course begin to feel within themselves that a real transformation awaits them. It’s all about learning to be like Jesus and by His Grace, learning to let him minister in powerful ways through us. It’s that simple ...and that amazing!
